We see a 2026 filled with more research, publications, exhibits & fresh new STORYTELLING...sharing unique and interesting connections between MONEY...and the CIVIL WAR. While many legislative changes were made as "wartime measures", some, like "Greenbacks" are still visible today in our commerce, coins, currency and banking.
Our next Feature: "TEN TUMULTUOUS YEARS: 1857-1866" will feature connections with the historic "Ship of Gold", the SS Central America, Lincoln's Legacies: New US Branch Mints, Treasury Girls, Counterfeiting...Civil War Tokens, and new US Coins!
